One pot pasta in pink sauce

One pot fusilli pasta in pink sauce ❤ I would die for these amazing one pot recipes 😍

I love how flavourful and delicious this turned out. Definitely was lip smacking and finger licking good! ❤

Now for the recipe :

• Heat a pan, add olive oil along with butter (don't skip the oil, you don't want to burn your butter).

• Add crushed garlic and oregano/mixed herbs and cook until the flavours come out. Throw in few teaspoons of refined flour / maida (don't add large quantity of it else, it'll thicken the whole sauce and ruin the pasta. A little goes a long way. Once maida is added, keep stirring and cook until the raw smell disappears. Add milk in batched whilst stirring and adjust consistency by adding water to give you a nice white sauce.

• Add uncooked pasta of your choice now, I've used fusilli here. Add water if you need to, cover and cook until the pasta is cooked well. Now, pour in tomato puree (store bought or homemade). I used homemade ones by blanching tomatoes and grinding them smooth. For the tomato puree, make a cross mark on the smooth side of the tomatoes, put them in boiling hot water for 1 minute and then immediately transfer to ice cold water by which it makes it easy and smooth to blanch the skin off the tomatoes.

• Cook everything for a good 3 minutes. At this point you can capsicum, red bell peppers, yelow bell peppers and veggies of your choice and let it cook. Add in salt, chilli flakes, oregano, cheese slices / grated processed cheese and stir well.

• There you go, enjoy your cheesy, tangy, spicy pink sauce pasta. Do not forget to lick your fingers after you finish off the yummy pasta off your plate 😘.
