And we're back to cooking after a very long time! I had super soft idlis with spicy and tangy small onion chutney for dinner tonight and aaaaaaah! I relished every tiny bit of it šŸ’‹ā¤ because home cooked food gives me such pleasure 😽

Okayyyyyy, now let's make this yummy chutney. Recipe :-

Heat some oil in a wok/kadai, fry mustard seeds, urad dal, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies, a tiny ball of tamarind, asafoetida powder, slit green chillies (optional), small onions (you can also add diced big onions if you want to), salt as per your taste and cook everything until the onions are translucent.

Now, let it cool and you can transfer the mixture to a mixer grinder and grind the whole mixture to not so coarse yet not so smooth paste. You can add water and blend if required.

Again, heat up oil again in a pan and splutter mustard seeds to it. Once spluttered, add the ground mixture to it and give a good mix.

Tadaaaaaaaaa! Serve it up and enjoy it with hot idlis like I did 🧔
